Creamed Corn was a hit! Sunday night before the MSA (Married Student Assosication) Devotional with President Russell T. Osguthorpe, we had a little pot luck dinner. I made my favorite dish creamed corn; it was so popular that we ran out. I should have doubled the recipe. I got at least three requests for the recipe! I am so proud!Here is my beloved creamed corn recipe:
2 pkgs of frozen Sweet White Corn 20 oz. (my fav corn)
16 oz Half & Half (or 8 oz milk and 8 oz heavy whipping cream)
2 T Sugar (add more sugar for better taste!)
1 t salt
Bring to boil and let simmer for five (5) mins.
2 T butter
2 T flour
Melt butter and mix flour and butter together, then add to Creamed Corn and stir well.
Remove from heat and ENJOY!
